    How can we stop these killers before they reach us.  The only way is prevention.  Prevention needs to begin today!!  A recent report in the June 2002 Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) reports that "Most people do not consume an optimal amount of all vitamins by diet alone."  Suboptimal vitamin levels are a risk factor for chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, and stroke.  You can make the choice today to do something.  Improve your diet and exercise or at the very least take a multi-vitamin daily.
