Massage is the practice of applying
pressure or vibration to the soft tissues of the body,
including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments
and joints. Massage is known to influence the different
parts of the body, including systems and organs. Massage
has been used to prevent and heal injury. It also helps
relieve psychological stress, manage pain, improve
circulation, relieve tension, relieve headaches, provide
relaxation and eliminate toxins from the body. Its history
can be traced back to China circa 3000 BC and Egypt circa
